26th February - 4th March 2018
In Zurich Diary – the 8th instalment in the City Diary series – Peter Bialobrzeski turns his gaze on the Swiss city of Zurich, the largest city in Switzerland with a population of almost 2 million. Known the world over as a financial centre, with its many financial institutions and banks, the city lies at the tip of Lake Zurich. Zurich Diary was shot between 20 Feb – 4 Mar 2018.
City Diaries is a joint publishing project between The Velvet Cell and award-winning German photographer Peter Bialobrzeski. Releasing approximately two books a year, each diary focuses on a single city, somewhere in the world, against the backdrop of a rapidly urbanising world. All books in the series maintain the same size, dimensions and page count.
Peter Bialobrzeski is a world-renowned photographer and the recipient of several awards including the prestigious “World Press Photo Award” in 2003 and 2010. He is also the author of over ten photobooks, including “Neon Tigers”, “Heimat”, “Lost in Transition” and “Paradise Now”.
