Albrecht Fuchs has been photographing artists and their extended circle since the late 1980s. This circle also includes actors, designers, composers and others. He developed his style of distinctive and coherent portraits early on. And it is also said that he takes the same picture again and again with inimitable perfection – always a kind of self-portrait.

In this new book, we present sixty of his most important subjects from four decades, all of which have never been published in a book before.
