Peter Bialobrzeski – Minsk Diary
Peter Bialobrzeski visits the Belarussian capital, Minsk. Minsk the 11th most populous city in Europe. Minsk is the administrative capital of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS). Between 1919 to 1991, after the Russian Revolution, Minsk was the capital of the Byelorussian Soviet Socialist Republic, in the Soviet Union. Minsk Diary was shot between 15th – 23th April 2018 and is the 13th instalment in the City Diary series.

City Diaries is a joint publishing project between The Velvet Cell and award-winning German photographer Peter Bialobrzeski. Releasing approximately two books a year, each diary focuses on a single city, somewhere in the world, against the backdrop of a rapidly urbanising world. All books in the series maintain the same size, dimensions and page count.
Peter Bialobrzeski is a world-renowned photographer and the recipient of several awards including the prestigious “World Press Photo Award” in 2003 and 2010. He is also the author of over ten photobooks, including “Neon Tigers”, “Heimat”, “Lost in Transition” and “Paradise Now”.
